Tokyo Marathon 2018 Held Successfully

Tokyo Marathon has become a major annual event under the concept of The Day We Unite.
Nearly 36,000 runners took part this year and ran through the city of Tokyo.

Tokyo Marathon is part of the World Marathon Majors as one of the largest marathons in the world. It attracts participation from a large number of people from around the globe. This year's event also served as the qualifying meet for the Tokyo Olympic Games. Yuta Shitara set a new national record, completing the marathon in 2 hours 6 minutes and 11 seconds to grab the second place and win a spot in the Tokyo Olympics.

Yunika Vision broadcasts information about traffic regulations in collaboration with the Tokyo Marathon because Yasukuni Dori in front of Yunika Vision comprises the early part of the marathon course.

We will continue encouraging runners and contributing to the advancement of the sports industry in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics scheduled for 2020.
