1000 fans get wildly excited over first live performance footage
Cheers echo through the streets of Shinjuku at Love Live screening
A special hour-long screening of the first live performance footage of "Love Live! Sunshine !! Aqours 3rd LoveLive! Tour ~ WONDERFUL STORIES ~" was held twice on February 24, 2019, from 16:00 and 18:00 respectively.
The screening was also linked to YUNIKA VISION's original app "VISION α".
Users of the app could listen to the screening with high quality sounds as well as participate in events that gave away cards signed by Aqours.
On the day of the screening, fans filled the viewing space set up at the venue Seibu Shinjuku Station Pepe Square one hour before the event started.
Come 16:00, the appearance of the Aqours members on the screen drew cheers of "Whoa" from the audience. They could be seen to enjoy the screening in their own different ways; some concentrating on the screen and enjoying the live, some taking their smartphones out to film the footage, and others clapping along and cheering to the music.
When the 16:00 screening ended, many were seen to wait in the square for the 18:00 screening, and the heated excitement of fans gathering in the square escalated as the day got darker.
Light sticks stood out more at the 18:00 screening, drawing the attention of passersby who looked back and forth at the screen and audience wondering what was going on. Comments like "Love Live sure is popular!" could be heard.
Apart from Aqours fans, the screening turned out to be a festive event even to those in the vicinity, with people who appeared like tourists from abroad also seen to be enjoying themselves filming the event.
Loud applause erupted from the square when the hour-long live footage ended.
With comments from viewers using the app "VISION α" saying "the apps sound quality was so good, we didn't even notice the surrounding sound", it seems like a lot of people enjoyed the live footage to their heart's content.
