Overview
Yoko Takahashi Special Event, where the artist enthusiastically sang four songs including her new song " A Cruel Angel's Thesis MATSURI SPIRIT" in front of an audience of 2000.
In this event held at Seibu Shinjuku Pepe Square to commemorate the release of Yoko Takahashi's new single "A Cruel Angel's Thesis MATSURI SPIRIT", the artist performed four songs related to "Neon Genesis Evangelion" including this one in a mini-free live.
YUNIKA VISION broadcasted the live stage for the approximately 2,000 people in the audience to enjoy.
On the day of the event, a makeshift "Evangelion Store" was set up in Seibu Shinjuku Pepe Square from 17:00 before the free live started. Ardent fans formed a long line to get Yoko Takahashi's CDs and EVA goods sold there.
Come 18:00, the words "Yoko Takahashi Comes to Shinjuku" appeared on the YUNIKA VISION, and the artist came on stage.
As the fans who had gathered there roared with excitement, the artist started singing "Soul's Refrain", stopping people passing by, and the crowd at the square grew larger and larger.
When she finished singing "Soul's Refrain", Takahashi greeted the audience with a smile saying "This is not an election speech (laughs). My new single comes out today, and I hope you will have a good time in this mini live". She then performed with two dancers her new song "A Cruel Angel's Thesis MATSURI SPIRIT ", an arrangement of "A Cruel Angel's Thesis " in the style of a Japanese festival.
Takahashi went on to sing "Pray to the Momentary Sky" and " A Cruel Angel's Thesis", and ended the successful event with a memorial photoshoot with the audience who had gathered there.
